Pricing & trial

Yes. All plans include a 7-day free trial with full access to Starter features. The trial includes 30 AI minutes total and a maximum of 50 calls. PayPal payment method is verified up front (no charge during the trial). Auto-converts to your selected paid plan at day 7 unless cancelled. We send a pre-charge reminder 3 days before billing.
A single phone number can already handle multiple simultaneous calls — what actually limits the system is concurrent-call capacity, not number count. Our plans differ in how many calls Synthfy can take at the same time (1, 2, or 3). Need extra numbers for multi-location or multi-brand use cases? Add them as $2/month each.
You can purchase additional minutes as an add-on ($5 per 100 min, or $20 per 500 min), or upgrade to a higher plan for more included minutes. We notify you at 80% usage so there’s no surprise interruption.
Yes. Upgrade or downgrade anytime from your dashboard. Changes take effect at your next billing cycle. No cancellation fees, no trick clauses.
Yes. Cancel from your dashboard at any time. Your service continues until the end of the billing period. No cancellation fees.

No. Synthfy works with any phone — landline, cell, VoIP, anything. You get a dedicated business phone number; our AI runs entirely in the cloud.

Total round-trip is faster than most human pauses.
Most won’t. Aura’s voice is natural and the latency is low enough that callers experience a real conversation. We’re called “Honestly Artificial” though — you can configure the agent to disclose if asked. We never deceive a caller who directly asks if they’re talking to a person.
Yes. We can port your existing number into SignalWire (our telephony provider) at no extra cost, or you can keep your number and forward unanswered calls to your new Synthfy number.
Google Calendar and Microsoft Outlook (incl. Office 365) via OAuth. Connect once in the dashboard and the AI books appointments directly into your live calendar with no double-bookings.

Security, privacy, compliance

Yes. All call audio streams use TLS 1.2/1.3 in transit. All database records (call logs, transcripts, leads) are encrypted at rest with AES-256. Backed up to encrypted storage. See our Security Overview.
No. We do not currently make HIPAA, SOC 2, GDPR, or CCPA compliance claims. Medical practices using Synthfy should treat it as a non-clinical front desk only and not transmit PHI through the system. We use AES-256 + TLS 1.2/1.3 encryption and follow security best practices, and a formal certification roadmap is on the table for 2027.
Yes — every call is recorded, transcribed, and summarized. You can disable recording per-number from the dashboard. Recordings are retained for 90 days (Starter) or 12 months (Growth/Business).
Encrypted relational database on Railway (US-East). Call session state in Redis on high-performance cloud computing provider (EU). Our sub-processors are listed in the Data Processing Addendum: SignalWire, specialized high-speed LLM inference layers, state-of-the-art speech-to-text API layers, Railway, high-performance cloud computing provider, PayPal.

Calls & capacity

Synthfy briefly answers the extra caller, takes a callback message, and logs the lead to your dashboard. You don’t miss them — the AI just routes them as a callback request instead of letting them ring out. To raise the limit, upgrade your plan.
Yes (Growth and Business plans). Configure escalation rules: VIP caller, urgent intent, specific keywords. The AI does a warm transfer with caller context already briefed — no awkward “let me transfer you” silence.
Synthfy detects and silences robocalls, spam dialers, and known bad actors before they consume your minutes. We maintain a constantly updated spam-source list at the carrier layer.
